On January 21, 2017, Miss Connecticut Olga Litvinenko spent the day at the Cos Cob Volunteer Firehouse running a relief drive to collect supplies for people in Haiti impacted by Hurricane Matthew. Olga partnered with the Edeyo Foundation, an organization whose mission is “is to improve the future for children in Bel Air (Port-au-Prince), one of the poorest neighborhoods of Haiti, through free quality education and, nutritional and social support.” Olga and her friends collected first aid kits and medical supplies, as well as many other needed items like toiletries and clothing.
All of us at The Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank Olga and her friends who made this event such a success. We look forward to more opportunities to work together and we wish you the best of luck in the Miss USA Pageant!
